Welcome to Lush Studios 🤍 We are a South Suburban Chicagoland loc studio specializing in loc maintenance, loc repairs, starter locs, and loc extensions. We are committed to providing quality care, precision, and professionalism, with services tailored to your loc journey. Consultations are required before booking loc extensions, loc repairs, and starter loc appointments to allow for proper assessment and personalized service planning. Saturdays are available by appointment only. Thank you for choosing me for your hair care needs. Please review the following policies before booking. BOOKING & SCHEDULING POLICIES Deposits • All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your date and time. • Loc extension installations require a 30% non-refundable deposit due to the time and preparation involved. • Deposits apply toward your total service cost. Rescheduling • Your deposit may be transferred once to a new appointment and will still apply toward your service total. • Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule. • Any additional rescheduling requires a new deposit, and the original deposit is forfeited. • Rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Cancellations & No-Shows • Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment and missed appointments without notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit. • A new deposit is required to book another appointment. • Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in loss of booking privileges. Late Arrivals • Please arrive on time and contact me if you are running late. • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling, depending on your service and the remaining appointment time. • If your service cannot be accommodated due to late arrival, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required. Service Selection & Consultations • Please book the correct service for your needs. If you are unsure which service to select, contact me before booking. • Required consultations must be completed before scheduling the corresponding service. • Additional services cannot always be accommodated during your scheduled appointment. • Any changes to service pricing will be discussed before the additional work begins. Microloc Maintenance • Retightening appointments should be scheduled every 8–10 weeks. • Appointments beyond 12 weeks require reassessment and may require a different service booking, additional time, and adjusted pricing. Loc Repairs & Missing Locs • Please disclose missing locs and repair needs before booking. • Repairs and reattachments are not automatically included in maintenance services and may require additional charges. • More than 10 missing locs require a separate repair appointment. • All additional repair work is subject to assessment and available appointment time. Hair Preparation • All services include a wash. • Hair must be completely taken down before your appointment. • A $25 takedown fee will be added to your service if your hair is not taken down before your appointment. Guests • Due to limited space, please attend your appointment without additional guests. • Accommodations for caregivers or parents accompanying minor clients must be arranged before the appointment. Studio-Initiated Schedule Changes • If I need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, your deposit will transfer to your next appointment and remain credited toward your service. • Changes initiated by me will not count toward your one permitted reschedule. Please book only when you are confident in your availability. These policies help protect the time and preparation dedicated to your service while respecting other clients’ appointments.
